Kevin Austin founded the Aero Law Group PLLC in 2000 after an extensive career in Aviation and Law with Cooley Godward LLP in Palo Alto, California and the Boeing Company in Seattle, Washington. His practice combines the areas of aviation, emerging growth companies and equity and debt financing.

Mr. Austin represents numerous clients in domestic and international transactions involving the sale, lease and exchange of commercial and executive aircraft, (from Cessnas to 747s) including the acquisition of the first Boeing Business Jet. He also represents investment bankers in their aircraft and airline investments and has worked with emerging and established commercial airlines in equity, debt and lease financings. He also has experience in the application of the bribery provisions of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

Mr. Austin received his J.D. from Stanford Law School in 1993. He attended the University of Washington and received a B.A. in business administration (accounting) from Seattle University in 1980.

Mr. Austin is a member of the state bars of California, Colorado and Washington, the American Bar Association - Forum on Air and Space Law and Aircraft Financing Subcommittee, the Equipment Leasing Association and the National Business Aircraft Association.
