Nate Pietila joined the Aero Law Group in 2005. His practice includes representing clients in the sale, lease and exchange of business and commercial aircraft.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pietila spent four years as an associate attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP in Orange County, California, where he practiced in the Corporate Transactions and Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring practice groups. Mr. Pietila represented companies from the biotechnology, chemical, electronics manufacturing and retail sectors in various restructuring matters. He also represented clients in connection with federal securities matters, mergers and acquisitions, and secured financings.

Mr. Pietila received his law degreee from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2000. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and a minor in Management Science from the University of California, San Diego, in 1997, graduating summa cum laude.

Mr. Pietila is a member of the State bar of California and Washington. He is also an FAA-certificated commercial pilot, with instrument, single-engine and multi-engine ratings.
