April, 2009 — Aero Law Group PLLC, an aviation law practice focusing on commercial airlines, corporate and private aircraft, as well as emerging-growth companies, advised commercial and corporate clients in the successful negotiation of more than 10 long-term engine maintenance agreements in 2008, marking a major milestone in the firm’s mission to provide transactional counsel to corporate and commercial clients worldwide.

In the commercial arena, Aero Law Group represented US Airways in the successful negotiation with Rolls-Royce for long-term TotalCare Agreements for the Trent XWB to power its Airbus A350 fleet, the Trent 700 for its Rolls-Royce powered Airbus A330 fleet, the RB211-535 for its Boeing 757 fleet and with International Aero Engines (IAE) and MTU Aero Engines (MTU) for its V2500 powered A320 fleet. In addition, Aero Law Group also completed several amendments to various engine maintenance agreements with GE, CFM and Pratt & Whitney on behalf of US Airways. Aero Law Group also advised AWAS, one of the world’s largest lessors of commercial aircraft, on a Trent 700 General Terms Agreement for A330 aircraft.
On the corporate side, Aero Law Group completed several long-term engine maintenance agreements for its corporate clients in 2008, including a Rolls-Royce CorporateCare Agreement for a new Bombardier Global 5000 and a new Gulfstream G550.
